382 1908 ‘S’ With Motto. Brilliant Uncirculated, gem. Almost impossible to locate this

to locate this choice. Similar coins bring $150.00 or more today.
392 1911 ‘S’ Uncirculated. Sharp, well struck! Another “head-to-find” coin in
this choice condition.
393 1912 Brilliant Uncirculated.
394 1912 ‘S’ Uncirculated, frosty surface. Obverse edge nick and the usual
signs of mishandling- commonplace with this date and mint.
395 1913 Brilliant Uncirculated. Original mint frost bloom.
396 1913 ‘S’ Very Fine, choice. A very scarce coin, seldom offered for sale
Worth $100.00!
397 1914 Brilliant Uncirculated. Another “gem’’ with original mint frost.
398 1914 ‘S’ Extremely Fine. Scarce.
399 1914 ‘D’ Brilliant Uncirculated. Seldom obtainable this nice.
400 1915 Brilliant Uncirculated. Not quite in the “gem” class, only due to a few barely
visible signs of mishandling.
401 1915 ‘S’ Brilliant Uncirculated. Rare! This coin is just about impossible to find in
“gem” condition, and this is a “gem.” The two 1907 coins with periods, 1920 ‘S’, 1930 ‘S’, and 1933 are the rarest in the set when it is complete. Next to those five coins this date and mint is the rarest. It would not surprise us to see this coin enter the $500.00 class in the next year or two. Presently valued at $200.00.
402 1916 ‘S' Brilliant Uncirculated. Another hard-to-find coin in choice condition. Worth
$75.00 today.
403 1926 Brilliant Uncirculated. A common date in “gem” condition.

CONSIGNMENT FLORIDA United States Paper Money
It is with considerable pride that we offer the following collection of Paper Money. It has been several years since we have been able to offer such a comprehensive group. All are catalogued to standard reference num- bers using Friedberg’s excellent reference titled “Paper Money of the United States.” They are prefixed with FR. It is the wise collector that recognizes he can assemble a nice collection of attractive notes at reasonable prices. All of these notes are beautiful, interesting and historical.
Extremely Rare Ten Dollar Refunding Certificate
451 April 1st, 1879. $10.00. Refunding Certificate. FR. 214. Signed by Scofield and Gilfillan as all are. This unusual note bore interest of 4% per annum and has a present day redemption value of $21.30. This is one of the most popular and sought after notes in the entire series. Obverse : Bust of Franklin, left; Red seal at center. Date of issuance printed in bright red. Reverse: Table of interest value for the particular note. The last time this rare note was offered was in the Neumoyer Sale, sold by us May 1960. The Very Fine specimen offered at that time realized $385.00. This note, CRISP UNCIRCULATED, is without a doubt one of the finest known to exist. It should realize $750.00, although it could conceivably go higher. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a rare “type” note.

BARBER HALF DOLLARS
Rare Offering of 1901 ‘S’ Half Dollars
1901 ‘S’ Brilliant Uncirculated, however has a few light scratches. This specimen seems to have been cleaned some time ago, but this does not detract from its beautiful appearance. The rarest Barber Half Dollar in the series and in great demand.
1901 ‘S’ Extremely Fine. Currently catalogs at $200.00 in this condition and worth it. 1901 ‘S’ Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Should realize $120.00 or so.
1901 ‘S’ Strictly Very Fine. A very pleasing coin, worth $100.00.

U. S. HALF DOLLARS
690 1901 ‘S’ Very Fine. Similar to above.
691 1901 ‘S’ Another. Very Fine. This consignment offers an unusual opportunity to
add one of these scarce coins to a collection.
692 1901 ‘S’ A shade from Very Fine. Should bring $75.00.
Unusual Group of 1903 ‘S’ Half Dollars
693 1903 ‘S’ Uncirculated, Brilliant surface. Evidence of having been cleaned some time
ago. The faintest suggestion of cabinet friction on cheek. Reverse is just about perfect. Currently lists at $375.00 and worth it.
694 1903 ‘S’ Extremely Fine. Currently valued at $100.00 in the Guidebook and worth it.
695 1903 ‘S’ Extremely Fine, as above. Scarce even though two specimens appear in
one sale.
696 1903 ‘S’ Very Fine. A $35.00 coin.
697 1903 ‘S’ Very Fine. 2 pieces. A $65.00 lot.
698 1903 ‘S’ Fine to Very Fine. Surely worth $20.00 or so.
699 1903 ‘S’ Fine to Very Fine. 2 pieces.
Rare 1904 ‘S’ Half Dollars
700 1904 ‘S’ Uncirculated, Brilliant surface. Had been cleaned some time ago. Nice
strike. Rare in this condition. Current Guidebook values this coin at $350.00.
701 1904 ‘S’ Extremely Fine, choice, bordering on About Uncirculated. Just the faintest
evidence of wear on the high points. Should bring a premium price, so choice.
702 1904 ‘S’ Very Fine to Extremely Fine. A very sharp strike. Should realize in excess
$75.00.
703 1904 ‘S’ Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Similar to above.

705 1904 ‘S’ About Fine, as above.

Rare 1913 ‘S’ Half Dollar
707 1913 ‘S’ Brilliant Uncirculated, light surface nicks. Quite a rare coin. Lacking in
many collections. Should command a good bid.
Rare 1914 Proof Half Dollar
708 1914 Brilliant Proof. The lowest mintage in Barber proof coins, with a mere
380 struck. Although this coin catalogs the same as the 1915 which had 70 more specimens struck, we feel that this is a much scarcer coin which should realize in excess of $450.00.
Rare 1914 Uncirculated Half Dollar
709 1914 Brilliant Uncirculated, minor hairlines on cheek. The proof of this date is rare,
but this Uncirculated specimen seems to show up less frequently. Auction records at $175.00 recently.
Rare 1915 Proof Half Dollars
710 1915 Brilliant Proof. Quite a rare coin. Currently catalogs at $550.00 and has been
quoted near that figure. Only 450 specimens made.
711 1915 Brilliant Proof. As above. It is quite rare that two of these coins ever appear
in one sale. The consignor, many years ago, saw the potential of this low mintage coin and decided to put an extra one away for an investment. How right he was ! We believe in 10 years the current price in the Guidebook will probably be doubled.

coin About Uncirculated, as it was weakly struck and there is evidence of it having a trifle bit of wear on the extreme high points.
